The Annual Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration is coming up soon. This grand event has been a tradition in Cincinnati for over 40 years and is an opportunity to bring families and communities together again. It is also a time to celebrate the “first fruits” and the seven principals of Kwanzaa: i.e. Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work & Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Nia, Kuumba, Imani.
The Annual Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration is filled with powerful, inspirational, educational and historical presentations. There will also be positive and uplifting live entertainment including dance, singing and spoken word, as well as community awards and recognition.
The Cincinnati Kwanzaa Committee is honored to host its Annual Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration at the Carl Lindner YMCA on Tuesday December 26. The doors will open to the public at 3 p.m. with The Kwanzaa Holiday Bazaar Marketplace for all of your holiday shopping specialties.
