JumpStart Theatre program breakfast is December 5

Written by

Please join the Educational Theatre Association for our Second Annual Breakfast benefitting the JumpStart Theatre program at The Center at 115 East 5th St., Cincinnati, next to US Bank and the Westin building. It will be on Tuesday, December 5. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. breakfast and the program is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Parking is available either at Fountain Square garages or the Westin Hotel.

JumpStart Theatre creates access to school theatre for at-risk middle schoolers in our community and has been successfully implemented in Aiken New Tech High School, Clark Montessori High School, Dater High School, Finneytown Middle School, James N. Gamble Montessori High School, Oyler School, and Roberts Paideia Academy in Cincinnati; Holmes Middle School in Covington, KY; and Felicity- Franklin Middle School in Felicity, OH. All nine schools receive ongoing training, mentoring, in-kind, and monetary support from EdTA and partnering organizations during a three-year period while the schools build the programs to a sustainable level so that every child will have access to performing arts programs in their schools.
