Abrakadoodle’s annual conference “Dreams Take Flight,” held at the National Harbor in Oxen Hill, Maryland, celebrated Abrakadoodle’s dreamy impact on its students, franchise owner dreams and achievements, as well as best practices and trends in art education. After just two years with Abrakadoodle, Ceneetra Anderson of Cincinnati, was recognized with two awards recognizing her dreamy performance.

According to Anderson, education director, “My dream for Abrakadoodle in our community is to continue to spark imaginations in kids from 2 to 92. With a master’s degree in engineering, I know the importance of STEAM education, and I am excited to grow our brand in Cincinnati and to make Abrakadoodle a household name that families associate with ‘fun learning.’ “

Abrakadoodle delivers innovative art education classes, creativity camps, in-school field trips, arty parties, events and more for children and adults through its network of franchises operating in the U.S. and in several international locations.

Anderson earned the Doodle Dozen Award for Top 12 performance during the calendar year. She was also the recipient of a coveted WOW Award for receiving the highest possible ratings based upon returned parent surveys in the 2017 Abrakadoodle National Parent Survey.

During the conference, Abrakadoodle celebrated its 2017 Silver Honors conferred by the International Franchising Association’s Franchising Gives Back program, which lauded Abrakadoodle for its innovation and impact via expansive franchisee community service as part of a company-wide Arts for All campaign in the communities it serves.

Also at Conference, Abrakadoodle previewed additions to its popular and well-respected STEAM art curriculum and culturally diverse and rich art programming. STEAM recognizes that Art is a key component that drives innovation, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration – a range of critical 21st Century learning skills that are intended to help all children be college and career prepared.

“This year’s Conference theme, ‘Dreams Take Flight,’ really resonated with where Abrakadoodle is positioned at this time,” said Rosemarie Hartnett, CFE, president and co-founder of Abrakadoodle Inc. “It all starts with a dream, and this year we have seen a number of really impactful and big dreams come true. Ceneetra’s awards for performance and outstanding customer service are great examples of an Abrakadoodle dream being realized through hard work and commitment.”
