Hundreds of young students gathered at Woodward High School for the Project Book-bag hosted by Pattie Collins, the wife of musician Bootsy Collins shown above handing 7-year-old Jayla Roseer her bookbag. More than 1,500 book bags were given away along with health and human services information, musical entertainment and a photo with a Disney character.
The first day of school is Wednesday. Aug. 15. for students attending Cincinnati Public Schools.
