Top Ladies of Distinction

The Cincinnati Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction Inc., a national award-winning chapter for exemplary volunteerism and advocacy, will recognize five Cincinnatians who have demonstrated outstanding service in one or more of the Five Thrusts of the organization. Top Ladies of Distinction (TLOD) and Top Teens of America (TTA) salute the following honorees: Service to Youth – Belinda Tubbs Wallace; Status of Women, Senior Citizens – Dwana Lockett; Community Beautification – Velma L. Rogers; and Community Partnerships – Anzora Atkins.

This year’s Annual Five Star Community Sweetheart Gala is on Saturday, February 9, at Sharonville Convention Center. The event starts at 5:30 p. m. with social/networking and cocktails, followed by dinner, award program and dancing.

Proceeds of the event benefit scholarships and programs.

This year marks Top Ladies of Distinction – Cincinnati Chapter’s 53 years of dedicated community service to youth and adults. The TLOD family of ladies, lords and top teens are enthusiastically continuing their programming with their Five Thrusts: Service to youth, Status of Women, Senior Citizens, Community Beautification, Community Partnerships and also important programming with their projects of UNCF, NCNW, NAACP, Sickle Cell, TLOD/Literacy, and the TLOD/A-TEAAM National Mentoring Initiative (The Ambassadors of the Evers Academy For African American Males).

The members of Cincinnati chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction thank the organizations and members of the greater Cincinnati area for their sustaining support through the years.
