2019 Business Excellence Awards to Recognize Local Businesses

The Cincinnati Chapter of the Collective Empowerment Group (CEG) will present its 2019 Business Excellence Awards Gala on Friday, May 3, 2018, at the Duke Energy Convention Center at 7:30 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Renowned Scholar, Author, Ordained Minister and Political/Cultural Analyst (MSNBC and CNN) Dr. Michael Eric Dyson. He will address this year’s theme: “Celebrating a Decade of MarketPlace and Ministry: Just Can’t Tell It All.”
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the business awards which spotlights individuals and companies that have demonstrated consistent growth, unique vision, innovation and support of Cincinnati’s economy and the small and minority business community. This year, CEG will also recognize and honor co-founders of the Cincinnati Chapter, Jim Clingman and Rev. Tracy Ventus of New Mission Baptist Church.
Timothy Elsbrock, Regional President and Senior Vice President of Fifth Third Bank, serves as this year’s Honorary Chair. The 2019 CEG Business Excellence Awards Gala is equal parts ceremony, celebration and entertainment. This year’s musical entertainment is local R&B Band, 2nd Wind and will feature the Rhythmic Sounds of New J.
