Cincinnati Public Schools on October 22 celebrated the new location of Gamble Montessori High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a tour of the renovated building.

The new 143,000-square-foot building at 3036 Werk Road marked the school’s first open house at the new site, as students also presented their fall concert in the auditorium. The Steel Band and Choir, under the direction of Thomas Frank, performed, along with the Wind Band, under the direction of Brian Huhtala.

Approximately 525 Gamble Montessori High School students are now attending classes at 3036 Werk Road, the site of the former Mercy High School. The district purchased the property in June 2018.  In January 2019, renovations were underway to include new windows, new heating and cooling and updating technology.

Gamble Montessori High School moved from 2700 Felicity Place, which is now the site of Gamble Montessori Elementary School, serving students in grades preschool through sixth grade.
