Update: The man was found dead on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday, emergency services personnel were still searching through concrete debris from the collapse Monday of a building being constructed at Fourth and Race streets in downtown Cincinnati.

Turner Construction Company, the project general contractor, released a statement saying four workers were treated Monday and released from hospitals, while rescue efforts remained underway early Tuesday morning for a fifth worker.

Cincinnati Fire Chief Roy Winston said workers on the structure’s fifth floor were injured when part of the building collapsed after concrete was poured on the sixth floor.

“As search teams continue their work (Monday) tonight, we pray for the man not yet found, his family and crew,’’ said Mayor John Cranley. “The men and women who build this city do not come to work every day without risk, and today is a painful reminder of that. We thank our first responders who helped several people hurt today and are still working at this hour to bring closure to this sad day.”
