According to wire services, California Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris quit her campaign to become the Democratic candidate to unseat President Trump in the 2020 election.
Harris closed three of her four presidential campaign offices in New Hampshire and fired all her field organizers in the state earlier in the week. Then on Tuesday, she announced she is dropping out of the campaign just ahead of the Iowa caucus.
Funding problems, lack of traction in the campaign, and staff conflicts were blamed for her decision to quit the race, according to a report from CNN.
