Lataysha Richardson, the daughter of Robert Richardson Sr., president of the Cincinnati Branch of the NAACP, and Sherri Richardson, passed Sunday.
Robert Richardson Jr. posted the following comments about the passing of his sister on his Facebook page. With his permission, those comments follow:
“It’s with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I inform my Facebook family that my big sister Lataysha Richardson has left us physically on this earth. She taught me how to fight, literally making me fight bullies who picked on me. She taught me courage through her example by how she fought through pain and illness all her life. I wouldn’t be who I am without her. I’m proud to be her brother. The staff at UC Health couldn’t have been more helpful. We are asking for your prayers and support in the coming days, especially for my parents. I’m glad she is no longer pain and I will see you in the sprit big sis.”
