Gov. Mike DeWine’s masking order no longer applies only to the counties that appear red on the Ohio Department of Health’s state risk map, he announced Wednesday. It’s statewide.

The new masking order, which will go into effect at 6 p.m. Thursday, will require most people over the age of 10 to wear masks in public spaces, including inside retail stores and restaurants, inside public transportation and in outdoor spaces where social distancing is not possible.
