The University of Cincinnati Bearcats played the 22-ranked Army West Point at Nippert Stadium on Saturday, September 26, before a crowd of just family members because of the new rules due too COVID-19.

The final score was Bearcats 22, Army Black Knights 10.
The game started bad for the Bearcats, when UC quarterback Desmond Ridder’s pitchout was fumbled and Army’s Jabari Moore ran it the other way for a 41-yard touchdown.

But that was the only highlight Army would have the rest of the day as UC’s defense held them to 276 total yards, with 210 of those coming from their running game.
The Bearcats scored when Ridder completed a 45-yard pass to Jayson Jackson and two plays later found Michael Young for a 12-yard TD.

Cincinnati sealed the win when Ridder hit running back Gerrid Doaks for a 60-yard pass for a touchdown
The Bearcats are now 2 and 0 and will play South Florida at Nipper Stadium Saturday, October 3.
