As Polmarch, (President), of The Cincinnati Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, I am proud of our relationship with Bond Hill Academy. The relationship has expanded through the years, via our chapter’s consistent time with the students at our Donald A. Spencer Reading Academy. In addition to the reading academy, we invest in getting the students exposure by sponsoring scholastic and social field trips experiences and provided necessary technology and supplies when needed, and facilitate uniform, coat drives and other clothing needs on an annual basis.

While we had to pause in-person interaction with the students due to coronavirus precaution. Recently the NFL Foundation Grant provided us an opportunity to give back to our students in a safe manner, while still targeting an area of need as communicated by the school. We have provided students with earbuds, which give them more a focused opportunity through the virtual learning environment.
In addition CAC of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated’s Bond Hill Academy students were given personal hygiene and toiletry items to help supplement for the extra time being spent at home, and stocking up the nurse’s office with hundreds of hygiene items, all proven to be a benefit to the students, their family, and school staff.
It was very fulfilling to have volunteers from the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter, their kids, and Silhouettes contribute their time and effort recently to compile over 400+ bags of these items to distribute to our youth. We want to give special thanks to the NFL Foundation, Closing the Health Gap President / CEO, Renee Mahaffey Harris, former Bengal’s Defensive Back Neal Craig and Bengal’s Running Back Coach Jim Anderson, former Bengal Linebacker Kevin Walker and Former Defensive Back Darren Kanas City Chief and, all of the Kappa Brothers of Cincinnati Alumni Chapter and their wives, for helping us to continue our investment in our community. We and look forward to expanding our relationship in the future.
