Cincinnati Observatory

The Cincinnati Observatory will award 20 quality telescopes and training for 20 individuals or teams in a project called Future Galileos. The goal: to create astronomy ambassadors that further astronomy education in the Cincinnati region.

The distribution of 20 high grade telescopes across our community will celebrate astronomy and inspire students and adults with first-hand views of the universe.

Winners will receive an Orion XT8 telescope, safe solar viewing accessories and training from Observatory staff. The Observatory is accepting applications for Future Galileos through May 31.
