The Cincinnati Herald is taking a look at several Team USA members as we count down to the 2020 Summer Olympics, which are being held in Tokyo, Japan starting Friday, July 23 until Sunday, August 8. Today we take a look at Skylar Diggins-Smith.
Skylar Diggins-Smith is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury in the Women’s National Basketball Association.
Diggins-Smith was part of the team that won the first-ever FIBA 3×3 World Cup in 2012 and will be making her 5×5 senior debut at a major tournament.
She also has gold medals from youth teams including the 2009 FIBA U19 World Championship team
