Northside Distilling Halloween Cocktails

Northside Distilling is Cincinnati’s first distillery since Prohibition and currently produces bourbon, gin, vodka, American Agave, and seasonal rum as well as limited-edition specialty releases and private label spirits. The distillery’s production space and tasting room is located at 922 Race Street in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio and is open Fridays from 5-10pm and Saturdays from 2-10pm. RECIPES:

Frankenstein’s Elixir

½ oz. simple syrup

2 oz. Northside American Agave

¾ oz. melon liqueur

1 oz. fresh lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake until chilled, and strain into a martini glass. Gently place large granules of black lava salt in the bottom of the glass (after pouring the liquid!).

The Drunken Skull

1 oz. Northside Vodka

½ oz. blackberry liqueur

½ oz. pineapple juice

1 oz. Prosecco

Combine the Northside Vodka, Chambord, and pineapple juice in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a wine glass and top with Prosecco. Garnish with a blackberry skewer.

The Jack-O’-Lantern

1 ½ oz. Northside Bourbon

¼ oz. orange liqueur

¼ oz. sweet vermouth

1 oz. orange juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake until chilled, and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with orange wheel and lime piece.
