The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the San Francisco 49ers at Paul Brown Stadium 26-23 in overtime. The Bengals were down 17-6 at the half, but clawed their way back late in the 4th quarter.

Cincinnati’s quarterback Joe Burrow found rookie WR Ja’Marr Chase for two touchdown the last coming with 1:19 left in regulation sending the game into overtime for 20-20 tie.

However, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo marched the 49ers down the field after the Bengals kicked a 41 -yard field goal on their opening possession of overtime.

Nevertheless, Garoppolo marched the 49ers down the field in six plays with rhe game winner coming with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Aiyuk beating the Bengals 26-23. 

The big gun for the 49ers was George Kittle’s 13 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon went over a 1.000 rushing yards for the season, and Chase eclipsed 1.000 receiving yards.

Bengals sack leader Trey Hendrickson #91, left the game in the second quarter with a back injury.
