Get fancy with luxe serums and all their benefits

I typically think skincare, if great, doesn’t need to be expensive because the products should still have the same core ingredient but manipulated in different ways, depending on the brand. But since skincare is about trial and error, tapping into the luxury side has to be considered as well. So, for the days we want to wear something that puts us in a luxury mindset, here are my TOP 2 high-end face serums you can find right at Sephora.

Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Age-Defying Intense Serum

The first thing that stood out to me about this product was the “Longoza Flower.” Most serums I own highlight vitamins so I had to do some research on just what the Longoza Flower was and its benefits. Just a note, when I googled the tea, the first thing that popped up was a Dior ad so at first, I wasn’t sure if this was a real flower at first but it is, well I think it is.

The Longoza flower is a fascinating plant apparently found in the east coast of Madagascar that has been used by the locals for years. It is said Longoza means “eternal” because it essentially it is a plant that when you cut it, it never dies and continues to grow back, indefinitely. The entire idea behind using this flower is to help slow down or eliminate the appearance of wrinkles.

You can purchase the Dior serum at Sephora for $120.00.

Lancome – Advanced Genifique Yeux Light Pearl Eye Serum

The Lancome Advanced Genifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye serum serves for a double purpose as well and can be used to hydrate and help grow your lashes. The main 3 highlighted ingredients in this serum are Bifidus Prebiotic, Caffeine, and Vitamin E.

According to healthline (https://www.healthline.com/health/food-nutrition/bifidus), bifidus is a commonly known bacteria, also known as Bifidobacterium. Bifidus is a “species of probiotics” you can find in many fermented foods. The bacteria serves as a natural probiotic used to support the outer barrier of the skin and is said to support the skin’s moister barrier.

This serum is light weight in touch and feel and has a cooling flexible applicator that is intended for massaging dry skin under the eyes.

This Lancome serum can be found at Sephora for $70.00.
