“Maggieglenn’s Poetic Expressions” a simply AWESOME book of poems about social justice

(Cincinnati) – With her latest book, “Maggieglenn’s Poetic Expressions” author Margaret Gray-Davis is a humorous writer, woman of faith, a romanticist, and a poet who always has been inspired to write because of her love for expression. As a firm believer in the value of equality, her poems are centered around social justice issues.

One review on her book said, “I like this book, if you are an individual interested in black history and culture THIS is the book for you. Margaret Gray-Davis author has such a UNIQUE way of expressing difficult topics in a meaningful precise way.”

Readers will gain a view into the life of a black woman that grew up encountering racism and learning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. They will understand how something that was so difficult to experience can bring such freedom and appreciation. This book is definitely not for the faint at heart, but for the courageous.”

Author’s Motivation for Authorship of Social Justice Writings: Social Justice poetry is me crying in the wilderness when the situation presents itself. My parents taught me I was just as good as anyone else. Exactly what does that mean to me? That means I believe in fair treatment of all people in a society, particularly including respect for the rights of minorities. I became the poem when I write. Most of my writings are related to concern for the demise of the young people as expressed in my poem, “I Died Before I Lived.”
