The Cincinnati Health Department provided various health check-ups during the expo.

Closing the Health Gap, a Cincinnati non-profit working to empower families to take control of their own health, hosted its 18th Annual Health Expo on April 30, returning to a live, in-person format in Washington Park in the heart of downtown Cincinnati and included more than 20 free health screenings in partnership with leading health providers UC Health, Cincinnati Children’s, TriHealth, Mercy Health and the Ohio Department of Health. Screenings will include blood pressure, glucose levels, body mass index (BMI), mammography, certain types of cancer, as well as hearing, vision and speech testing for children. The event will also feature fitness demonstrations, live entertainment, exhibitor booths, a Children’s Pavilion and more. More than 10,000 attendees were expected. Since the inaugural Health Expo in 2004, more than 125,000 people have attended the annual event and nearly 40,000 residents have benefited from the health screenings provided.

The Endovascular Center provided free circulation screenings during the Health Gap Expo.
