Family Adventures in the Park coming to EDEN PARK with free family activities, arts, and live music – Mother’s Day weekend

Jazz Musician & Author Delfeayo Marsalis to perform and read

Spring is truly upon us. As you and your family begin to make plans to spend time together, pencil in a family-centric, all-day event happening in Cincinnati’s EDEN PARK on Saturday, May 7 where the theme is “No Cell-Phone Day.” Attendees are invited to put aside their devices and spend quality time with one another (and what Mom doesn’t want more of that?!). The best part? From 11 am until 5 pm, the days’ events will include musical performances, book readings, crafts, a wayfinding quest, and more interactive fun brought to you by Cincinnati’s most iconic arts and cultural organizations – The Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Art Museum, Playhouse in the Park, Krohn Conservatory, Harriet Beecher Stowe House, The Walnut Hills Branch Library, Learning Through Art, Inc., Artworks, A Picture’s Worth, Cincinnati Parks’ Seasongood Pavilion and Eden Park Mirror Lake.

There will be photo booths, food trucks, transportation provided – AND – admission is free!

No Cell Phone Day marks the kick-off event of sponsor Learning Through Art Inc.’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, and they are beyond thrilled to invite the community of Cincinnati to connect, create, and celebrate with them.
