The 2022 Cincinnati Music Festival to be held July 21-23, has added R&B singer Ari Lennox as the headliner for the opening night lineup on Thursday, July 21. Lennox earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album and hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her 2021 single, “Pressure.” Lennox joins BJ the Chicago Kid and Cincinnati native Arin Ray for the Thursday night performances supported by Vibe Cincinnati.

The Cincinnati Music Festival has partnered with Vibe Cincinnati presented by Visit Cincy to create the Thursday Night Experience. The partnership is centered on reinvesting into the region by powering the Dan Lincoln Institute for Hospitality Leadership (IHL), which was created to help advance equity within the hospitality community by creating career pathways for diverse candidates and exposing students to the vast opportunities in the region. For the Thursday Night Experience, $7 from each ticket sold will be donated to IHL to help invest in students who are interested in a hospitality career.

After a two-year absence, Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G (CMF) returns to Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati with an exciting lineup of R&B music featuring Janet Jackson, Charlie Wilson, The O’Jays and more headlining the event over the three days. The performances on Thursday, July 21 will be held at The Andrew J. Brady Music Center for the first time.

The 2022 lineup includes:

  • Thursday, July 21: Ari Lennox, BJ the Chicago Kid and Cincinnati native Arin Ray (at The Andrew J. Brady Music Center)
  • Friday, July 22: Charlie Wilson, Anthony Hamilton, Toni! Tony! Tone!, Jonathan Butler, Another Artist TBD (at Paul Brown Stadium)
  • Saturday, July 23: Janet Jackson, The O’Jays, Tank, After 7, Kirk Whalum (at Paul Brown Stadium)
