What made you start your business?
I decided to partner with Tava because of the benefits of their products offering an enhancement in overall health to keep the body working in proper order. Starting about 5/6 years ago, I became serious about my health and taking care of my body. So when I was introduced to this company early this year, it only made sense.
How does it empower you as a Black Woman in the Beauty Field?
I am empowered because unfortunately, black women are not always viewed to care for their inner or outer health and well-being. I am here, as a black woman, to show that it is about our overall health first. But don’t get me wrong, we also want to strive to keep our bodies fit as well and what we desire to look like, not what society deems as a “suitable look”.
What are 3 of your favorite beauty items you can’t live without?
A good moisturizer, lip gloss and facial cleanser.
