After hosting “The Daily Show” for seven years, Host Trevor Noah announced Thursday that he’s leaving the show.
The South African Comedian took over the reins of the show after previous host Jon Stewart stepped down in 2015.
After a rocky start, Noah came into his own and his tenure as the host has been very well received by critics and audiences alike.
Noah stated in the video that he wants to focus on his standup career and touring.
The Associated Press reported that neither Noah nor Comedy Central have announced when his last show will be.
