New this week at City Base Cinemas Cincinnati!

Cincinnati, OH – This week at City Base Cinemas Cincinnati, we premier LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE, and AMSTERDAM and continue to play BROS, SMILE, THE GREATEST BEER RUN EVER, DON’T WORRY DARLING, SEE HOW THEY RUN, THE WOMAN KING, BULLET TRAIN, and more.

LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle – a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music-living in the attic of his new home.

AMSTERDAM From 20th Century Studios, New Regency, and acclaimed filmmaker David O. Russell comes “Amsterdam,” an original crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.

BROS Universal Pictures proudly presents the first romantic comedy from a major studio about two gay men maybe, possibly, probably stumbling towards love. Maybe. They’re both very busy. From the ferocious comic mind of Billy Eichner and the hitmaking brilliance of filmmakers Nicholas Stoller and Judd Apatow, comes BROS, a smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about finding sex, love and romance amidst the madness.

SMILE After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.

THE GREATEST BEER RUN EVER To show support for his neighborhood friends serving in Vietnam, Chickie Donohue decides to do something totally outrageous: travel to the frontline by himself to bring the soldiers a little piece of home – their favorite can of American beer.

DON’T WORRY DARLING A 1950s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets.

SEE HOW THEY RUN In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theater underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.

THE WOMAN KING is a historical epic inspired by true events that took place in The Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states of Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries. The story follows Nanisca, General of the all-female military unit, and Nawi, an ambitious recruit, who together fought enemies who violated their honor, enslaved their people, and threatened to destroy everything they’ve lived for.

BULLET TRAIN In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe – all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives – on the world’s fastest train…and he’s got to figure out how to get off.

See you at the movies!
