The multiverse comedy-drama “Everything Everywhere All at Once” won the Best Picture Oscar at the 95th Academy Awards Sunday night.

The film also garnered Acting Oscars for Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The Best Actor Oscar went to Brendan Fraser, for his physical transformative role as a morbidly reclusive professor in “The Whale”.

The Oscar night was refreshing as all the winners in the acting categories were first time nominees. Something that has not happened in over 10 years.

In addition, Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win the Best Actress trophy at the Oscars.

Although Angela Bassett did not win Best Supporting Actress for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, Ruth E. Carter did make history Sunday night.

Carter won her second Oscar for Best Costume Design for the film, and it makes her the first Black woman to win two Oscars in the Academy’s long 95 year history.
