What made you start your business?
I started my beauty business because I wanted to create a safe space where black women could feel empowered, confident, and beautiful. I noticed a lack of representation and inclusivity in the beauty industry, and I wanted to change that by providing high-quality products and services tailored to the unique needs of black women.
How does it empower you as a Black Woman in the Beauty Field?
Running my own beauty business empowers me as a black woman in the beauty field by allowing me to showcase my creativity, talent, and expertise. It gives me the opportunity to celebrate and uplift the beauty of black women, while also challenging industry norms and stereotypes. I can create a platform where black beauty is celebrated and embraced, empowering myself and others in the process.
