A great restaurant to enjoy with a fresh natural setting is E+O Kitchen at 3520 Edwards Road in Hyde Park square. There is another location at 56 West Freedom Way in The Banks. The soft natural colors are relaxing and offer a sense of calm while dining. Real plants and wall gardens add tranquility to the space.

Tell us about the wine Wanda

Their wine program has greatly improved in the past few months. The list is easy to read in a casual ring binder with clear pricing. I had a sparkling rosé from Bordeaux, France with an incredible nose of perfume and peony. Wines by the glass is in every category on the new wine list.

What did you eat at E+O

The menu is filled with fresh flavorful food served with excellent customer service. I had the “Hey Vinny” sushi roll, with a soy paper upgrade, and fried potato’s which are coated in spices and completely addictive. The “chicken Bok Bok” sandwich is one of the best chicken sandwiches in the Queen city and comes with a side. I couldn’t turn away from dessert and I adore the “Chocolate pot de creme” it’s delicious and the white chocolate curl is fun to eat. The lobster fried rice is a signature dish at E+O as well as the Katsu chicken, sticky Wagyu burger, an array of sushi rolls, salads, and sticky glazed ribs.

Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday at E+O, and happy hour is M-F from 2-6 pm. Gift cards are available, and reservations are suggested for evenings, large groups, and for weekend dining.
