One reason I love visiting Gervasi Resort & Spa is to have a glass, flight or bottle of their delicious wine.

Italian Collection

Gervasi currently offers ten Italian imported wines, from a private label specifically for Gervasi Vineyard. these wines span a range of flavor profiles that are sure to please the connoisseur and novice wine drinkers alike.

Gervasi’s Italian Collection is from diverse regions around Italy, Tuscany, Piedmont, Veneto and areas in the northern and southern parts of Italy.

The director of winemaking and distilling travels to visit the partner growers or producers. To see firsthand the care taken in growing the grapes or producing quality wines. Two additional Italian wines (Lucello and Truscano Sangiovese) are hand-crafted at Gervasi’s own state-of-the-art winery.

Franciacorta rosé and Amarone Della Valpolicella are my favorite Italian wines at Gervasi. The Amarone has a deep dried date flavor, baking spices, and cherry flambe. A big bold dry red wine with depth and complexity from partially dried grapes.

The Franciacorta is a sparkling darling for a celebration of the good life. Italy’s answer to Champagne and plenty of fine silky bubbles. Aromas of hazelnut, raspberries, and lemon citrus. Tastes of buttered toast, roasted hazelnuts, dairy cream, citrus rind, and a bit of spice.

The Italian Wine Collection is served at The Bistro, The Crush House, The Still House, and Gervasi’s cocktail lounge. Enjoy while dining or residing on the property only; they are not available to be purchased for carryout or shipment.

Gervasi Estate Wines

Gervasi’s wine portfolio is made from grapes and juice from other regions. Gervasi winemaker works with vineyards from across the country, California, Washington, and in Ohio. To secure only the freshest quality grapes and juice to create unique wines.

A couple of my favorite Gervasi Estate wines:

Passione Aromella American – American Alcohol 12.5% ABV. Family Reserve wine collection is crafted with grapes picked from Gervasi vineyard capturing the true essence and character of Gervasi. Passione is refreshingly sweet with seductive perfumes of orange blossom, whipped honey, musk melon and citrus zest. Cellared and bottled by Gervasi Vineyard.

Sangiovese Rosé Amore American 13.5 % ABV. Floral and limestone reminiscent of a warm summer breeze. This rosé is made from 100% Sangiovese juice extracted from the grapes of Truscano. A dry wine with a pretty salmon color with a nose of rose petals. Tastes of sprite melon, wet stone, light acidity, red berries, and citrus.

Gervasi Spirits

Spirits

Gervasi features unique spirits such as wine barrel-finished bourbon, rosé vodka, and blood orange gin. These flavor-infused spirits are carefully crafted to enjoy neat or as signature ingredients in creative cocktails.

Spiced rum is delicious with natural flavors and rich caramel color. Gervasi’s Spiced Rum is a finely tailored blend of aged rums creating an amber amalgam of aromas and flavors. Notes of caramel and butterscotch with layers of vanilla, cinnamon sticks, hints of cherry, 47% ABV (94) proof.

Blood Orange Gin is a gorgeous vibrant color. Gervasi’s Saint’s Desire Blood Orange gin are reflections of Italian blood orange in a medley of citrus notes. This gin is layered with flavor and style and makes an excellent housewarming gift 47% ABV (94) proof. Distilled and bottled by Gervasi Spirits.
