CINCINNATI — Mayor-elect Aftab Pureval announced the hiring of Neal Brower as his Chief of Staff and Keizayla Fambro as his Deputy Chief of Staff.
Neal Brower, Chief of Human Resources with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts will lead the Mayorโs office as Chief of Staff. Keizayla Fambro, Civic Engagement Director for the Ohio Organizing Collaborative and Political Director for the Aftab for Mayor campaign, will join as Deputy Chief of Staff.
“Neal and Keizayla are seasoned government professionals with outstanding public and private sector experience, energetic leadership, and are committed to community engagement,โ said Pureval. โThey will help me execute on a vision to move all of Cincinnati forward.”
Prior to joining the Clerkโs Office, Brower spent nearly 10 years with the Ohio Attorney Generalโs Office, serving under both Attorneys General Richard Cordray and Mike DeWine. Brower and his husband Dan Albrecht, an attorney with Procter and Gamble, live in East Walnut Hills.

Fambro was vice president of Southwest Ohio Young Black Democrats and a founding Board Member for a local chapter of New Leadership Council. She served as Communications Director and Chief of Staff to Councilmember Wendell Young from 2016-2018. Fambro is a graduate of Winton Woods High School and the University of Cincinnati. She and her daughter Kylie are residents of Mt. Airy.
