Women’s Fund welcomes Executive Director, Alicia Miller
Alicia Miller has been hired as the new Executive Director of the Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Her experience, enthusiasm and great communication skills will bring a fresh chapter to our organization following the successful tenure of Meghan Cummings.
Miller was selected after an extensive search and interview process that reviewed many impressive candidates, but her accomplishments and passion for helping marginalized women made her the perfect candidate to take the Women’s Fund to our next chapter.
Miller most recently served as the Second Chance Director for the Ohio Justice & Policy Center where she led the agency’s work to provide direct legal assistance and policy advocacy to expand the ability of people with criminal records to advance employment, education, safe and affordable housing and community reintegration. She is deeply familiar with the systemic issues facing marginalized women in our region. Prior to this role, she served as a public defender and Assistant Misdemeanor Division Chief for the Marion County Public Defender Agency. Throughout her career, she has been committed to her clients and advocating for their rights. She is passionate about remedying barriers faced by marginalized individuals.
Women’s Fund welcomes Communications Director, Michelle Hopkins.
Michelle Hopkins has been hired as the new Communications Director for the Women’s Fund.
Hopkins brings a wealth of communications expertise. Her experience includes working in community relations and communications for Cincinnati Children’s, Mercy Health, and time at both WLWT-TV and WCPO-TV. In fact, you’ still be able to see her every weekday morning on WCPO’s Cincy Lifestyle.
Hopkins’ passion for her community and drive to impactfully connect with people are apparent in the projects she’s been driven to work on. A longtime Women’s Fund supporter, she has previously served as a member of the Women’s Fund development committee and the Women’s Fund Leadership Council, and now is a full-fledged staff member.
