Cincinnati nonprofit Generation NOW recently held its Young Professionals Headshot Happy Hour networking event at the Knox Joseph Distillery in the OTR StillHouse in Over-the-Rhine. The free professional headshots were provided by Shawndale Thomas Photography.

The event, aimed at fostering connections and community development, attracted a diverse group of young professionals eager to engage with local leaders.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans was featured on a panel along with other local leaders, including Leslie Touassi, Junior League of Cincinnati VP of community impact: Kristi Rohrkasse, manager of the Rising Star Equity Leadership Program at YWCA Greater Cincinnati; Tracy Wells, VP of development and communications for Habitat for Humanity; ย and Renika J. Smiley. Generation NOW founder and CEO. The discussion focused on nonprofit leadership and ways young professionals can get involved in the Cincinnati community through volunteerism.

Founded in 2015, Generation NOW is a community-based nonprofit with a mission to build and leverage a diverse and inclusive workforce for young professionals and youth in Greater Cincinnati. This has been made available through professional development, training, job placement and the creation of leadership and mentorship opportunities through networking.
