Mother of the Bride

The #ScottLoveOnMyMind wedding was held at the Christian Village Gazebo on Hamilton Avenue. The gazebo is outside the residence of the bride’s grandmother, Barbara Triggs-Wilson, and her great aunt. Due to travel concerns and not wanting to leave any relatives out, the groom suggested the wedding take place there.

The gazebo was decorated beautifully by Cincinnati’s own and well known Donnie “Hollywood” McFinley, the accredited wardrobe designer from “Shawshank Redemption” and various other films.

The bride, Tymesha N. Triggs (now Ty N. Scott, owner and designer of Crochet Crochet & Accessories.), crocheted her wedding dress, the groom’s tux and gowns of both her matron and maid of honor. She did this in less than 30 days!

The groom is Ricardo L. Scott (aka Rico Soul), formerly of RCA records and mentored by the late Gerald Levert. On this special day, Rico sang his tribute song, “You Are So Beautiful,” to his bride, which had the guests in happy tears.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Ricardo L. Scott. This ceremonial union will go down in history as being a very beautiful and unique wedding.
