The Women’s Alliance Inc. (WA) honored Marcy Fitzgerald as the Jewel of the Community at its recent 17th annual Hats Galore fundraiser, themed Roses in Paris. There was a full house of lovely women with beautiful bonnets at the Manor House.

Jewel of the Community, Marcy Fitzgerald, is a Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. In addition to clinical practice, Marcy focuses on improving the outcomes of their entire patient population. As a former fitness instructor, Marcy remains a fitness enthusiast and is adamant about recommending lifestyle modifications as an integral part of patients’ treatment plans.

According to Julie Graham, WA president, “We also named three new scholarship recipients today. Along with the scholarships, WA provides mentoring and further financial support for books and expenses.”  

WA sponsors fundraisers to invest in school-age youth in the Greater Cincinnati area. At this event, WA raised $20,000.
