Schools across the region opened this week. Your Cincinnati Herald family wishes everyone a happy and successful school year, and we thank our teachers and administrators.
Adults are encouraged to volunteer at our schools – reading to children, helping with homework and tutoring, or just being there with a word of encouragement. Call the school of your choice to see how you can get involved.
Parents can ride the Metro for free to and from school with their child for the first two weeks of school. Just tell the driver when you get on or download a pass from the Cincinnati Public Schools website.
