Mitch Morris, founder of Saving Our Kings and Queens, held a voter registration event in Winton Hills on June 29. Everyone is encouraged to register for the first time or re-register if they have changed addresses, marital status, or name, or they did not vote in the last election and could be purged from the voter rolls. Also, it’s important to dispel myths such as having a felony record precludes voting. It does not. Once the citizen has re-entered, they are eligible to vote. There are only a few states that prevent those with a felony conviction from voting, and Ohio is not one of them.
