Sponsored by the MLK Jr. Coalition Cincinnatiย

The Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition Cincinnati is sponsoring a rally dedicated to standing against the rising tide of White supremacy and addressing the recent removal of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives from our democracy. This rally will not only bring awareness to these critical issues, but also inspire and inform participants to take meaningful action in the fight for justice and equality.

The rally is Sunday, April 6, from 3-4 p.m. at the North Avondale Recreation Center Ballfields (617 Clinton Springs Ave, Cincinnati, 45229). The date is of particular significance as we near the 57th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The event is free and open to the public.

The event will include speakers, music, and opportunities for community engagement, and we expect a diverse and committed group of individuals from all walks of life to join us. We would be delighted if you could lend your voice to this cause and help amplify our message.

The MLK Coalition is deeply inspired by the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., particularly his idea of the โ€œbeloved community.โ€ This rally seeks to honor his legacy by bringing together individuals and organizations committed to fostering inclusion, understanding, and love. We want participants to leave feeling motivated to engage in positive actions that challenge injustice, uplift marginalized voices, and work toward systemic change that strives to build a beloved community, bringing to life the ideals and philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. We hope you will support us.
