This annual high-energy, high-impact celebration on Tuesday, July 1, at the Urban League Headquarters, 3458 Reading Road in Avondale featured over 25 community organizations providing access to job training opportunities, financial resources, health services and more. On-site services were provided by the Fifth Third Bank, eBus and the NAACP Civic Engagement Mobile Unit. There was free food, music, games and prizes. An empowering fun day for all.Â

Do they actually help?
Because low wage jobs aren’t the answer. Free food isn’t either and having children without education and a solid relationship don’t help either. Just keeping it 100%
