Close to 500 people gathered at Harvey Park for the first “Building Together Block Party” for Avondale residents and community partners. The event was hosted by Cincinnati Children’s and Messer Construction Co.
Neighbors enjoyed food, drinks, music and giveaways including Kroger gift cards.
The block party was a small way of saying thank you to the community given Cincinnati Children’s on-going construction projects in the neighborhood Recreation Commission, Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Ronald McDonald House, Rockdale Elementary School, South Avondale Elementary School, The Community Builders, and the Urban League.
