BGMedia announces Friday, October 18 is the date of the 3rd Annual Guiding Light Mentoring Gala and Fundraising Event. The monies raised will support Guiding Light Mentoring’s Youth Education, Recreation, and Leadership Programs. The festivities are from 6 to 10 p.m. at Music Hall at 1241 Elm Street, Cincinnati, 45202.

Latisha Owens is a graduate of Xavier University, member of Corinthian Baptist Church is the founder and executive director of Guiding Light Mentoring.
The programs work as a collaborative process promoting healthy mentee-mentor relationships with goals that focus on improving overall health, social, and cultural intelligence of the mentees, ages 8 to 18 with skill-sets assisting them to overcome adversity while excelling in today’s challenged society.

The keynote speaker for the evening is Terrence J Jenkins, philanthropist, entertainment reporter, author and actor. He is also a model and spokesperson for several brands. He is graduate of HBCU North Carolina A&T is currently with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
