Amid the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, New Prospect Baptist Church, along with SO-ACT, CEAI, Lincoln Heights Outreach Ministry and The Heights Movement, in a time of uncertainty, when many people are struggling and out of work, provided over 1,000 meals at New Prospect Baptist Church on Easter Sunday. Spokesperson Timikal Bobo said, “The pre-ordered meals were offered via “no contact” drive-thru service or delivery for hundreds of families and seniors throughout the city. All of orders reached capacity.”
New Prospect Baptist Church’s vision is to “build a healthy community one family at a time through the promotion of healthy lifestyles, educational and recreational programs to accommodate all segments of the community, and with business and economic opportunities in the community.”
