St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s annual coat drive is under way. Greater Cincinnati residents are being asked to donate new and gently used winter coats or visit GoldStarChili.com to make a financial donation for a coat. There is a particular need for children’s coats as well as adult coats, sizes XL and larger.

The public can donate coats through a contactless drop off at any Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store or Findlay Market.

Over 50 local businesses and churches are hosting private coat drives on site.

For a complete list of drop off locations, go to: SVDPcincinnati.org/coats, WLWT.com, or Warm98.com. To make a financial donation, go to: GoldStarChili.com or SVDPcincinnati.org/give.

St. Vincent de Paul and its partners hope to provide at least 4,500 neighbors in need with coats this winter. In the interest of public health, St. Vincent de Paul will distribute coats through a voucher system thisyear. Coats will be distributed through Feb. 8, 2021.

Neighbors in need of a coat should call 513-562-8841. A coat voucher will then be mailed to the neighbor. Neighbors have 30 days to redeem the voucher for a coat of their choice at any St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store location. November 16 was the first day St. Vincent de Paul issued vouchers for coats.

St. Vincent de Paul-Northern Kentucky will be conducting distributions similarly. For further information on how Northern Kentucky residents can receive a coat, call 859-341-3219 or visit SVDPnky.org.
