Last weekend’s event was the National Faith and Blue Weekend created by Pastor Markel Hutchins of Atlanta to bridge the police, clergy and community.

There were peace walks in Avondale and the West End. Next there will be a community conversation and round table discussion.

“The great thing is the partnership between police, community and clergy,” said Sentinels president Officer Louis Arnold.
