Dee-Licious Pound Cakes, an online bakery in Mason, Ohio, will celebrate its official grand opening and ribbon cutting on October 27, 4 to 5 p.m. at the West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance at 8922 Beckett Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069, with a
ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:45 p.m. Samples will be served.
Dee-Licious Pound Cakes specializes in homemade from-scratch pound cakes in six unique, themed designs and three Dee-Licious flavors. The cakes are great for real estate closing gifts, business client or employee appreciation gifts, holidays, and every occasion. Stephanie Rousseau, the founder and owner of the business, ensures each cake is custom made fresh with premium ingredients, which provides elegant artistry, great texture, aroma and Dee-Licious flavor in each cake.
Rousseau, a licensed baker, has over 40 years of baking experience. She began baking many years ago assisting her grandmother, Mrs. Scottie Dee Carter Green, baking and cooking holiday dinners. She genuinely enjoyed the time spent in the kitchen talking with her grandmother about everything while they cooked and baked. Many friends, relatives, and church members requested her cakes for years.
Stephanie’s family and friends encouraged her to open a business to sell her cakes. In December 2019, she said she received answered prayers to move forward with the online bakery on Etsy.
Stephanie posted on Facebook, “With guidance from God, I am stepping out on faith with the opening of Dee–Licious Pound Cakes.” The business is named in honor and memory of Stephanie’s grandmother.
While on Etsy, Dee-Licious Pound Cakes shipped cakes to 14 states and Rousseau appeared on the TV shows Food COMA and Cincy LifeStyle in 2021.
Now, Dee-Licious Pound Cakes invites you to the grand opening of its own online shop. “We are extremely excited to have a stronger presence online and to have the opportunity to serve our pound cakes to the local community, with pick up by appointment in Mason, Ohio,” Rousseau said. “We thank all our clients and the realtors and businesses who have collaborated with us to offer our cakes as closing gifts and appreciation gifts for their clients. Come celebrate with us and sample our cakes on October 27 at 4:00 p.m.’’
