The Cincinnati Herald was the recipient of two second place awards at the recent Ohio Society of Professional Journalists Better Newspaper Contest, with the awards presented in Cincinnati during an Ohio River cruise.
The awards were in the categories of best headline writing and best religious feature, which was a feature about dissension over the removal of the African American theme at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Madisonville that was written by Editor-in-Chief Dan Yount.
