Located at 2123 Beechmont Ave. in the business district of Mt. Washington in Cincinnati, visitors will find the recently opened The Tome Bookstore (and cafe) a cozy place to find the latest bestseller and other books, but also other activities.
Owners, J.M. Clark and wife both possess a passion for books and the perfect cup of coffee. J.M. Clark is a local best-selling science fiction author, who likes nothing more than to share his love of books and knowledge of creation with patrons. The Tome Bookstore is home to local readers and coffee enthusiasts.

“We offer a wide array of new and used books, manga (a term used in Japan for comics or graphic novels) and comics for you to browse; or if you prefer, sit down to read a few chapters while enjoying your coffee or tea,” said Clark.
The Tome Bookstore has also announced D&D Nights. Players can come and learn how to play and host Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, Clark said. Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a role-playing game that was created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson in 1974. The game involves two or more players who assume the roles of characters in a fantasy setting. Players use dice to determine the outcome of their character’s actions, and they can also engage in combat and cast spells.

In addition to the wide variety of books available, the store also offers a number of book clubs that meet on a regular basis. These clubs provide an opportunity for readers to come together and discuss their shared love of reading. The clubs are open to all readers, regardless of age or experience level. They offer a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to share their thoughts and opinions.

Additionally, the store staff is always on hand to offer recommendations and help readers find new books to enjoy.
