The Anthony Muñoz Foundation is bringing holiday spirit to Oyler School students on Tuesday, November 15th at the annual “Shoegiving” event. The Foundation is providing more than 30 students lunch from the Boudinot LaRosa’s Pizzeria then buying each student new pair of shoes to keep them warm this winter at Western Hills Target. This event is free for all students to attend.
Students are fed pizza, play interactive trivia games, and will get an exclusive inside look of Boudinot LaRosa’s Pizzeria’s kitchen, which recently began welcoming guests back to its flagship West Side restaurant after it underwent a $1 million renovation.

Between 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., Oyler School students participate in an individualized shopping experience at Western Hills Target.
“We absolutely love supporting the Anthony Muñoz Foundation annual field trip with the students from Oyler Elementary School,” says Michael LaRosa, CEO of LaRosa’s Pizzeria. “The smile on the students faces say it all! The day makes for a uniquely fun experience that creates a special forever memory for everyone involved!”
“Anthony Munoz Foundation is one of our most treasured partnerships that always goes above and beyond to help us remove barriers. They build into our students through various aspects and several programs throughout the year; however regardless of which opportunity we are part of the AMF is always committed to helping our students find and see their true potential,” says Tiffaney Hamm, Director of Enrichment at Oyler Community Learning Center. “Days like this leave a huge impact on our students’ hearts, creating memories that they will never forget. Anthony and his team, as well as the entire Larosa’s family, do an amazing job pouring into our students.”

This is the 10th year the Anthony Muñoz Foundation will host “Shoegiving”. Over 300 shoes have been gifted to students over the years and is just one of many Anthony Muñoz Foundation’s programs that aims to impact underserved youth in the Tri-State.
