Critically acclaimed Cincinnati chorus holds 11th annual concert Sunday at 5pm

CINCINNATI, OHIO – If you’re looking to LEVEL-up your Christmas festivities this year, consider attending a local celebration that has been recognized by former US President Barack Obama and has received numerous awards including the Legends Award conferred by the I Hear Music in the Air Gospel Conference. Let Every Voice Enjoy Life, or LEVEL, is pleased to announce the 11th annual installment of the 100+ African American Men’s Chorus live in concert, 5pm, Sunday, December 11, 2022. The all-ages event takes place at Allen Temple AME Church, 7080 Reading Road, Cincinnati, and is free to attend.

What: 100+ African American Men’s Chorus 11th Annual Christmas Concert

When: Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 5:00pm 

Where: Allen Temple AME Church, 7080 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237

Voluntary offerings will be accepted, and all proceeds will fund LEVEL’s annual Black College bus tour for underprivileged youth in the Greater Cincinnati area. LEVEL is a Cincinnati-based non-profit that has produced the +100 African American Men’s Chorus concerts and sponsored the Black College bus tours for the past 11 years. The bus tours are designed to motivate youth to pursue higher education and a fulfilling future.

This year’s celebration is hosted by Allen Temple AME Pastor Dr. Alphonse Allen, and features Ohio State Senator Cecil Thomas as the Special Master of Ceremonies. The 100+ African American Men’s Chorus is composed of men from all walks of life who are dedicated to making a positive change in the lives of young people. Tremaine Robbers serves as musical director, and renowned gospel/R&B singer Henry Benefield serves as chairman of the chorus.

If past years are any indication of this year’s celebration, arrive early to get a good seat!
