Nia Baucke to Become Next CEO of Community Strategy and Engagement Company Cohear

CINCINNATI– Local community engagement and strategy company Cohear announces that Nia Baucke, formerly the Chief Strategy Officer, will become the Chief Executive Officer starting in 2023. Nia has been with Cohear since 2019, and before that had experience working with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts, KnowledgeWorks Foundation, and StrivePartnership.

Cohear has expanded its footprint over the last few years, partnering with major hospital systems, school districts, art museums, and health departments across Cincinnati and Columbus. Nia has been central to that work, particularly leading engagement in health and education. She brings a deep commitment to Cohear’s mission of changing the culture of decision making by empowering the everyday experts in the community.

Dani Isaacsohn, Cohear’s founder, said: “I could not be more excited about this announcement. Nia has a truly unique combination of leadership skills, passion for the work of lifting up community voices and improving policy, and the drive and ability to grow the business. She has trusted relationships across the community, and is taking over Cohear at a time of meaningful growth and the opportunity to make a real difference. I can’t wait to see what Cohear is able to do with Nia at the helm.”

Isaacsohn begins his first term as State Representative in January, and will stay on with Cohear as Senior Advisor in the new year. His involvement will focus on internal support for the rest of the Cohear team.

Nia Baucke shares in this excitement, noting that: “Cohear plays such a valuable role in helping connect leaders to the everyday experts in the communities they serve, and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the next phase of our growth. We have an incredible team, clients and partners who are deeply committed to genuine improvement, and a unique ability to foster meaningful change.“

Nia Baucke will begin the new role in January 2023, and is eager to deepen existing partnerships, strike up new ones, and to grow Cohear’s footprint and impact in the community.
