Our beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend; Sandra Beaver Hartley passed from this world Sunday Morning, February 11, 2024. Sandy was 78 years old.
She was a resident of Cincinnati.
Sandy (Beaver) was born in Indianapolis on August 25, 1945. The second child of five, Sandy learned her love of the outdoors growing up in Fountaintown, Indiana. Sandy also learned her toughness, being the younger sister of Denny, and her kindness, being the older sister to Cindy, Sally and Greg. Sandy loved horses, long walks, euchre, and time with her grandchildren. “Grammy” never failed to be there for the soccer game that mattered or the gymnastics competition that meant so much. Sandy loved spending time with her family, friends, and her gentle spirit touched many lives. Her shoes know many miles.
Sandy was preceded in death by her wonderful parents Cecil Otis and Edna Mae Beaver and cherished husband Darrel Hartley and her bestie, Lady. Sandy is survived by her children Shawn Robert Jensen and Shannon Lee Jensen as well as siblings Denny Beaver, Cindy Beaver, Sally Beaver McMath and Gregory Beaver. Grandchildren Aidan Voellmecke, Simone Voellmecke, Kelli Jensen, Kristi Miller, Makayla Cooprider, Caydence Jensen, Cory Jensen, and Kendall Jensen; Sandy also has two beautiful great grand children Maddie Miller and Mason Miller.
Though we grieve in her passing, we rejoice in the time we had together.
